I assume most of you have seen what was on the Fairmont Times website and paper concerning my pleading guilty to embezzlement of my former employer Defazio Exxon. As always, there are 2 sides to every story and unfortunately they only print one side. This has been ongoing since last year and things have changed 3 times on there side. I pled NOLO or NO CONTEST because I had nothing on my side to support myself, no paperwork or witnesses to back up my claim. I went from being fired for a violation of company policy for having stolen $10,000 in customers checks (how do you take a customers check when you hand it back to them??), to being short my last day there, to shorting a bank deposit - which is what they finally settled on. The bank deposit thing was thrown in there yesterday at the last minute as I was pleading No Contest. I have been holding my tongue on this matter for the last 18 months, not going public about anything. My lawyer even commented yesterday about why is a reporter in the courtroom for a misdemeanor charge when they normally wouldnt be there - which we suspect Joe Defazio called them to make sure I was dragged in the mud publicly. So now I am on 1 years probation. There is so much more I can say here but wont drag this thru the mud publicly. Those of you that care can IM me if you have any questions. Id like to say that I can only wish bad things happen to my past employer, but thats not going to change anything, so I wont. But rest assured they wont ever get another dime from me, even though I love EXXON gas. To all the employees who had worked for me, I Thank You for your support, and you know how they operate and thats all that needs to be said. PEACE
