I believe that the violence in Ferguson was an entire set-up from the beginning, perhaps by the Democrat Governor (Nixon), perhaps with encouragement from Obama/Holder, and certainly with the aid of the prosecutor (another Democrat, Bob McCulloch). I believe they intentionally delayed the announcement for better than a week, including all weekend, with lots of leaks, statements, and media hype to allow the protestors to get ready, build the anger, fill their Molotov Cocktails, and allow the crowd to gather from as far away as Chicago. Then they again delayed on Monday afternoon and evening until after dark, again to build anticipation and anger, to be sure that the perpetrators were operating in darkness, and for the best TV images of the fires on prime-time news. Then as the results were read, they had Michael Browns stepfather on stage screaming, Burn this [place] down and his mother fainting after expressing her anger. The lack of sufficient National Guard troops and the police driving a Congo-line of armored trucks down the street are further evidence of a set-up to maximize the violence and destruction. Obamas pre-prepared statement simply added to the evidence of his complicity. A more conservative way to have handled the announcement would have been to make no leaks and statements beforehand, and to simply appear in the courtroom at 8AM on Tuesday morning with a quiet one-paragraph statement. - Jeff Wise
