I dont want to write a song, unless its about You. I dont want to think a thought, unless its about You. I dont want to take a step, unless its for You. If You dont go with me when I go then I will stay right where You are. Im fine never leaving where I am if it means You are near. But if You leave where I am and beckon me to follow then I will go with You and follow closely behind. For my wandering soul has found its Shepherd. My heart has found its home. My soul knows the sound of His voice, and my Spirit knows the feeling of His nearness. He does not leave me or abandon me; I am never alone. Though 10,000 oppose me, my God will not abandon me or turn my life over. My soul rests secured, and I can sleep in peace and have true rest because I have Him on my side. When the enemy comes He is quick to defend me, His hand is there for me to hold. He becomes furious when I am under attack, and He does not hesitate to remove my enemy. This is the same who parted the Sea and crushed Pharaohs armies because of His jealous love for us. This is He - my Shepherd who guides me closely by His side. When I am hurt He carries me in His arms. My eyes will ever be fixed on Him, and my heart will ever follow Him. I watch closely each step He takes. From everlasting to everlasting I will be near to Him and He will be near to me. In Heaven I ask that there be no mansion of glory for me, for all of my heart longs to serve the Lord and dwell in His house forever and ever. Yes! All I desire is to live in His house forever. It is better to serve Him and be near Him than to be a king in a beautiful palace and not know Him. For He is the lover of my soul, the One who has never forsaken me, the One who has never turned away from me. No earthly or Heavenly possession can come compare to Him. No thing; no matter how glorious, comes close to Him! I observe His Laws and take careful note of His ways because He first loved me and now I love Him too. I trust in Your a Word completely. Each step You take I will follow closely behind You. Because before there was anything else in my life there was You. Before even my mother knew me, You loved me deeply. Before I ever spoke a word to my father, You cherished my soul. Jesus You will always be the center of my joy. All I have that is good comes from You. When I have You near and hear your voice, everything is okay. Do not be silent, talk with me, share Your heart with me - because it matters to me Jesus. Its only because of You that I can forget all of the things that really dont matter. Your love silences the heckling of the enemy. When You show me who You are I forget that I even have an enemy. You are all that holds my heart, my confidence, and my hope. I am anchored securely in You Jesus. Turn your face to me Lord, let me see your goodness and draw me ever nearer. All that is evil I have done away with, I cant believe that people say they love you and do whatever they want! How rude and inconsiderate; that kind of living is an insult to the King of Kings. Not me God! My flesh bows to You, all I have bows to You, all of my future bows to You, all of my family bows to You, and all of my desires bow to You. There will be no way but Your way in my life. There will be no will but Your will in my life. How I love it when You beckon my heart, how I love it when You draw me in, and how I love it when You call me by name. Today is your day, tomorrow is your day, and my forever belongs to You.
