I feel very strongly that our surrounding forest is being removed from us. They are making it harder to cut firewood, which I think should be free, from stuff left behind from clear cutting. Speaking of which, it feels as though the forest is being devastated. Speaking to many loggers they feel the same way. They worry about job security and what its doing for future harvests. Ive even heard of them going into park lands, with their bosses saying they traded land and I cant understand how that is even possible. Park land is supposed to be protected, no matter what. I would like to see things change. We should t have to ask permission to use our back roads. The corporations should ask for permission. Not the other way around. They should be regulated more. Ive watched the land out there turn more dry, without trees to keep moisture in, with shade, we are creating a desert. Im not saying we need to stop logging. At all. But something doesnt sit right, even with loggers. I bring this up. But I doubt anything will come of this post,,,
