I had a conversation that greatly saddens me and worries me. I have a couple of Wicca friends which are moving to the area. One of my friends asked me if there was any Wicca Rituals in area, but he didnt think that he would be comfortable at an ADF Ritual. The first thing that I wanted to do was make him comfortable, so I gave him a hug, smile, and said that’s OK I forgive you “we’re still friends.” He started laughing which let me know that he was in his comfort zone. I proceeded with “Wicca is your chosen path the same as Druid is the path that I chose.” A path won’t make you a good person, because you are that person before you was called to that path. A spiritual path will just emphasize and structure your personality, attitude, and your mentality. No one should be made to feel inadequate because you both are called to different paths. Where you are on your path is where you need to be. I have an awesome idea ‘why don’t each one of us be good to one another and accept a person for the individual that they are and don’t worry about what path that they are on.’ The community deserves it, but more importantly the Earth Mother deserves it! I have a hard enough time working towards my own path then to worry about someone else’s path. I am bummed about no Beltaine in the Forrest this year, but I been getting all kinds of invites to Pagan, Wicca, and Druid events so I should be able to find Wicca events for Wicca friends and myself….lol The only problem is that many of the Wicca events are out of state. I’m use to traveling hundreds of miles by Greyhound to attain events. The worst time that I had on a bus was the time that I took an Express Greyhound from Charleston, SC to San Diego, CA. I don’t know why they called it an Express as it took 71 hours straight through. It didnt feel like any Express Bus to me. Remember that if we strengthen each other as well as the community than us and the Earth Mother can only benefit from it. I’ll see many of you at events! Hugs and Blessings.
