I had a very tender event in the dentist office today that I just have to share with everyone. My husband woke up with a bad toothache, so he called a new dentist who will take his insurance. We arrived, and I proceeded to fill out the usual tons of paper work. They called him in shortly thereafter. About 1 hour later, a dental assistant told me Craig was having difficulty, would I come back? Of course, I did. The dentist told me the BP was 220/170 when they started, and worse now. Craig had been given all the pain killers he could safely be given, but this tooth was not yet numbed. I sat with him for about 10 minutes or so, when the dentist again took his BP and then said, Well, would you look at that! One hundred points lower! The rascally tooth was soon safely extracted and we went home with instructions for ice cream and vicadin. Nice to know my presence can help calm a nervous heart. God knew what He was doing when he brought us together, and I sure do love that man!
