I hope yesterdays disaster in Dunedin made two things abundantly clear. (1) Jake white must file his ambition to again coach the Springboks in the aint gonna happen folder. (1) Bok rugby needs to move away from the outdated gameplan based on big players trying to strangle the opposition and without the finesse to attack and through speed, guile and flair to put opposition defenses under pressure. I think it is time that peolke like Paul Treu and Deon Davids be given an opportunity to shake things up in SA rugby. And no, this is not a call for our people to get a chance. I find that kind of racialistic thinking backward. Instead it is a cry for a diffrent mindset in taking rugby in SA forward.
