I just finished Unlit Star by Lindy Zart. I have to wait to write my full review, but right now Ill tell you this: I am very emotional when it comes to books, but its truly rare when a book affects me so much, all I can do is think about it day and night, through rain or shine, and cannot- CANNOT wait to get back to it. This is Unlit Star. I am so emotionally overwrought, impressed, baffled, and stunned by this book, all I can do is sit here, cry, and stare into space in awe. This book... I just cannot get over it. I want to hold it to my chest and never let it go. Yep, Im a wreck. Im going to replace the book-shaped hole in my heart with some Ben&Jerrys ice cream.
