I must argue this point. today, my professor was mentioning about the fact that tatoos are UNACCEPTABLE, being that it makes elderly uncomfortable, or they may think you are someone in a gang etc. a few of the girls in my rotation have very tasteful sleeve tatts, or just a simple tattooo on the wrist. the teacher said they must, cover them up. however, that being said, it is always argued in life about respect. why is it, that we must respect that others may find this offensive, yet, they cannot respect the fact that peole may like tattoos and each one they have is unique to them? respect is very very more often then not biased. because always, one person loses..respect isnt a 2 way street. it can never be equal. i think we all know that though.
