I need to get this out there. Please read and understand if you do not agree I will understand. We pulled a dog named Duncan from the Urgent list in Columbia Urgent list in NC his name was Duncan a beautiful dog that was listed as scared was at the shelter for a month. Well I pulled him he went to The vet and boarding facility to be vet checked and get a health Cert for transport. Well the 3 other dogs I pulled where vetted with No issues but when it came down to Duncan it all went to hell... According to the Vet Duncan would not let him examine him he snarled and growled. Well he finally got him to calm down a little bit and when he went to give him his Rabies shot Duncan lunged to bite. The vet called and explained that he was going to give him a sedative to see if it would help calm him down so he could fully examine him. Well he called again and said he was unpredictable and aggressive to where he is unable to evaluate him. He stated to me he would be better off put down. I then responded and said what are other options that we can do Then put him down. I said if there is no other options then that is what will have to be done.Well we hung up due to he said he would see what he could do. Well the next phone call was very upsetting because the vet said he was not going to have his staff or himself put in danger trying to examine this dog. That Duncan was to unpredictable to put on transport and he was not going to risk anyone getting hurt by this dog. Then we started talking about the other dogs and there conditions. Well we hung up and I was talking to a friend on one of the dogs and she flipped on me saying how could you. I then called the vet and found out yes he was euthanized.. I did give consent in a way by saying if no other options. My Heart is broke over this and I hope you can forgive
