I volunteered at the Dream House today and let me explain the depth: We worked with three kids ages 18, 6 and 12. They all have severe disabilities and could not speak. Heres the kicker, they were laughing and having a good time for 8 hrs. I have never seen kids smile and laugh for that long of a time period. It really helps me put life into perspective when I see a person that cannot do most of the things we can do, yet they smile, laugh and enjoy life! I love people and I cannot wait until I finish my degree so I can work with them every single day!
