I would like to ask for prayer for my friend Alyssa Smith and her son. Yesterday, her 7-year-old son, Andrew was in a drowning accident. Please pray for her sweet boy. Here is her update from this morning: I am standing by his bed where i have been pretty much the last 6 hours...his brain activity is very low. They are attempting to do a hyper thermic treatment on him ...have lowered his temp to 30 to give his brain time to heal and swelling go down. They have him sedated. Dr said it doesnt look good bc his brain was deprived of oxygen for 33 min depending on how good and effective the cpr was he received. He said the prognosis is slim to none and he really didnt qualify for this treatment but they r trying anyway. It can take up to 36 hours and then they warm him back up and see how he is. My heartis breaking as i look at my sweet boy like this....havent stopped crying and just want to wake up from this hellish nightmare
