I would rate something as a bad movie? - sure. I watched something last night, on Comcasts Stream Pix, which nearly bored me to tears, but I stuck it out, hoping that it would get better - sort of like when you stick out a beating or a jumping by the school bullies, hoping they might give you a blow pop or some reward at the end...Funny how that never seemed to happen to me! The movie was about a young Hercules, who has been invited to train with one of the other demi-gods, or humans. He has this huge amount of pride and even when the Goddess of Wisdom, Athena, warns him that Hera, Zeuss wife, wants to kill him - and he needs to be careful. He takes no heed of her warnings and even laughs them off, only doing some things in order to humor her; and even telling her that to her face. There were all these scenes of these guys posing and flexing their muscles up on a rock, for long, LONG stretches of time, with this corny music playing in the background, and then shows of their strength and prowess, which didnt impress me one bit. I thought that the acting was bad, the plot was ill-conceived and the length of the movie was way to short compared to the lengthy scenes which appeared to add little to nothing to the story. All in all, I was sadly disappointed.
