IT HAPPENED TODAY June 14, 1998 was a day full of emotions for LCR Team. First of all, Lucio Cecchinello won his first ever Grand Prix in Madrid! At Jarama circuit in 125cc class, on the finish line he beat Marco Melandri in second place by more than 9 seconds! What’s more, Hiroyuki Kikuchi who was replacing injured Nobby Ueda, crossed the line in 3rd place.
