My 501(c)3 nonprofit, Angels Touching Lives has a big huge benefit this Saturday June 28, 2014 from 12 noon to 3 pm at The Metairie Elks Lodge #30, 2215 Cleary Ave, Metairie, LA 70001, we can get in at 11am and we have till 4pm to break down and get out. We desperately need a live BAND to play pro bono for us. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit and dont have funds to pay. But we are really desperate, our original band accidentally double booked and had to cancel on us, we are really in a very BAD WAY! Even if we can get 3 different bands to commit to playing for 1 hour each or 2 bands to play for 1-1/2 hours each, anything! We are desperate, we can issue you a receipt for your full price of services to help you with a tax write off, does this work....someone anyone, 3 hours this Saturday please Thanks! RALLY4DAVID SATURDAY JUNE 28, 2014 12 - 3PM ELKS LODGE 2215 CLEARY AVE, METAIRIE, LA $15 per person / $5 kids / 4-under FREE Live Music, Food, Drinks, Beer, Silent Auction & Parade of Prizes David Walters, husband to Laurie and father of 4, suffered and survived an extremely rare condition called Boerhaaves Syndrome (Spontaneous rupture of the esophagus). David has had his stomach placed in his chest wall for eating/swallowing. He also has major pulmonary issues from the damage to his left lung, a seizure disorder, daily depression, and anxiety. David is a St. Charles Parish resident, Archbishop Rummel High School and St. Matthew the Apostle (River Ridge) alumni and is now disabled and struggling daily with the challenges of life. David mourns the loss of his career as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, a career that allowed him give back to so many others. He has been placed on long-term tube feedings and will ultimately need major implant dental work to ensure proper chewing. We are working closely with the LSU School of Dentistry and all of Davids physicians through his recovery process. DAVID NEEDS YOUR HELP!
