If you hate reading long “articles” of little importance, here’s the short version: INTO THE WOODS, THE BEST MUSICAL I’VE EVER SEEN, WILL BE MADE INTO A MOVIE BY DISNEY AND MERYL STREEP, JOHNNY DEPP, ANNA KENDRICK, CHRIS PINE and some other people WILL BE IN IT!!! Okay, here’s the full version: I just found out Disney’s going to film the Broadway musical “Into The Woods.” I was excited at first since it’s my favorite Broadway show. Well it’s basically the only one I’ve seen and it was on DVD, unless you count Cats which I saw many years ago here in Taiwan. Well I don’t since the only thing I remember about it was people running and dancing around on stage. Anyway, I was excited and afraid at the same time because Disney might screw up the story. And the actors that will be in it aren’t really singers, I think. Except Anna Kendrick, I think she’ll be great. Meryl Streep will play the witch and I think she’ll be great too. Not sure about her singing though. (The witch in the Broadway show was really, really good.) Oh, and Johnny Depp will be playing the wolf. Yeah I think he’ll be great, also not sure about his singing. What I’m really excited about is Chris Pine will be in it!! But I’m also worried since I don’t know if he can sing and he is not the exactly one of the best actors out there. Sorry Chris Pine, I’m a big fan but you’re not perfect. Anyway, I really hope they’ll cast Mary Elizabeth Winstead since, well, have you heard her sing?? She has amazing vocals!! Sadly I read on the Internet that she wants to focus on independent films right now so even if she is offered a part, she might turn it down. That’ll be too bad. It’ll be in theaters on Christmas in 2014 according to imdb. By the way, all of this information is from imdb. I hope they don’t mess up the original story or make it better (which is not really possible) and at least make it decent. PS. Also according to imdb, there’ll be a Fast & Furious 7 which apparently was announced before the sixth one was released. And it’ll be directed by the director who brought us Saw and some other thrillers. Oh, and there’ll be a sixth Die Hard movie. Yay, I can’t wait. (Realize the sarcasm? Not really? This is my problem with just words. You can’t really realize the sarcasm behind the sentences. Yeah, it also may be that I’m terrible with words, but still.)
