Im looking for a strong director to help me produce then direct a single scene for a nearly complete neo-noir thriller that I have been working on for five years. The movie had a 20K budget and was shot primarily on location in Sydney, Australia. Parts of the movie were also shot in Beverly Hills and at CBS studios. The movie features some great new talents, was very well shot, and is of professional level quality all around. The movie has not been completed, primarily for budgetary and personnel reasons. It was originally intended to be a feature but I have now instead chosen to edit it into a very solid short film that will then have the potential to evolve into a full feature. I aim to submit the short film version to as many film festivals in the U.S. and in Australia as possible, in 2015. I need the project to be completely finished and festival ready by March 1st, 2015 (three months from now). ONE scene remains to be shot but it is a lengthy scene, and one on that will make or break the whole movie. I could just direct it myself but as I act in the scene as well, and I would prefer to be directed rather than to direct. I will compensate whoever ends up producing and directing this one final scene with me by giving them an entire co-director credit, as well as a producer credit. These credits will go on IMDb and should the movie fare well in festivals (which I believe it will) whoever the co-director is will receive a lot of exposure and have some studio quality work to their name. In sum, for five days of work youll get credited for five years worth. I like this project. I am proud of this project. And I owe it to myself and everyone who worked so hard on this thing over the past half decade to finish this movie and make sure it finds an audience.
