Im very proud to have been a volunteer on the organizing committee for the Canadian Cancer Societys War Horse Warrior Challenge. People have no idea how much work is involved to organize an event of this calibre. I worked with some amazing volunteers during this past year, and many hard working staff members from the Canadian Cancer Society. Most importantly, we had some very generous sponsors & volunteers who donated their $s, time & talents for this very worthwhile event. not the least of which, the owners of this amazing property, Southern Cross. southerncrossequestrian Owners Brenda & Dean did not hesitate when approached, to share their breathtaking property for our event. We could not have done it without them! When all is said and done, its so rewarding to have raised over $14,000.00 for Cancer Research. Thanks so much to the participants, volunteers, sponsors, and all who gave so generously of their time & talents! You know who you are.
