In my opinion this hunter should lose his right to hunt forever as well as his truck, ATV, rifles etc.. The hunter is licensed to kill a black bear, he shoots a grizzly. Firstly the moron should know the difference. It is not difficult to tell the difference. The bear attacks the hunter, obviously self defense. The bear is called vicious. This is a travesty. I have no sympathy for this trophy seeker who incorrectly thinks he is a hunter. The travesty is most readers of this article will fear the bear when the man with the gun is far more dangerous. Killer bears are not born, they are made by the way people treat them. Shooting at bears scares bears (duh) and they respond accordingly. A bear hunters thirst for the kill is possibly the most probable reason a bear attacks in self defense rather than runs. The attack most likely will find an innocent human victim in the future, a person hiking through a nearby park.
