Its been a busy week for us. We have over 200 merchant pages now complete on Shop Conejo However, we have over 600 on the currently on the website so there is still a lot more work to do. The Merchant Area will be finished today so if you have already registered, look for your account activation email tomorrow. Well, our vision for Shop Conejo is really starting to come to life! When complete, Shop Conejo will be a very unique and innovative website. Its not a simple Wordpress Blog but a comprehensive directory of all merchants in the Conejo Valley. We feel thats the only way Shop Conejo will be truly useful to our users. Thats why every merchant page is absolutely free. We are going to work 24/7 to achieve the goal of having a page for every merchant in the Conejo Valley. Also, we are really excited that this week we begin preparing for our first monthly promotion.. Valentines Day! When you login to the Merchant Area, you will be able to access the Valentines Day promotion page. A week before Valentines Day, the Shop Conejo homepage will be Valentines Day themed (yes, lots of red!) The main graphic will link to our Valentines Day promotion page (again, lots of red! haha) This page will display all of the merchants who are running Valentines Day promotions. The merchants area has a promotion calendar with promotion pages being designed 6 months in advance so you can preview them. This will give our merchants plenty of time to coordinate their sale or event with our promotion and join that promotion group. Essentially, our pricing will break down like this: Basic Merchant Page (logo, contact info, map, searchable) = FREE PAID FEATURES $50/mo • Full featured Merchant Page • Advertising on Shop Conejo (multiple categories) • Monthly promotions / Promotion Groups Any merchant that begins a paid monthly subscription in January will have premium status with us forever.
