Its official… the Buena Vista Audubon Center will be closing today for 6-8 weeks. We will be building a new observation area on the upper level of the center. A huge thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers. We will miss all of your smiling faces at the host desk the next 2 months. Remember that we will continue to do the lagoon bird count and basic birding classes during the summer months. The next basic birding class is Saturday 7/26. Meet in the nature center parking lot at 8am. A big thank you to our current Board of Directors for your leadership and for having the courage to make big decisions that help us to grow as an organization.
