Ive been using the HC hiatus to reflect, something that I never stopped long enough to do during the past 9 months. Lesson one: reflect and reassess every week because persistence needs tempering. Persistence often made me try to run through walls instead of around them. Lesson two: it will never get easier to be a patient entrepreneur. To be one, Ive given up everything else. This wont change until theres a cure which is why I will never stop caring deeply about projects like HC that try to leap over the red tape of clinical trials. Lesson three: everything happens for a reason, and if you dont believe that start creating your own. I will be devastated if I lose this project but the past month has given us insane clarity on where to go next, and how to do things better if Im fortunate enough to have another opportunity.
