Janice Hicks I lived in Traverse City and went to meetings held at the city, utility company, road commission, county, townships meetings and told them all they were adopting Agenda 21 into this beautiful area and they just wouldnt believe it . There is so much oil and natural gas up there which they are fracking for years and surveying and I think that is why the UN wants it...for the resources. Also, once they submit a grant for an ICLEI project in those counties , they are then UNDER the Control of the UN.....and their American Planners acturally tell them that but they do not comprehend what that will acturally mean....it is a bait and switch.....they think the Fed. Gov. is giving them this money to improve their communities ......they have no idea they are building a community which will be put under federal control forever...they are land grabbing, stacking and packing human lives, restricting huntiing , and rural living . They have already mapped every inch of those counties , they have two drones up there via the NM college /T.C Airport . The FACISTS are working fast and furious while Obama is in office. Obamas expertise is in community organizing ....why do you think, he spoke at the UN , first president ever to lead in a UN meeting! He is their man .....the UN and the Chamber of Commerce is the Agenada 21 Facists~! And our own ex ceo Republican Gov. Rick Snyder has traveled to T.C. to endorse the Grand Vision / UN agenda! It doesnt matter who is Dem or who is Rep...they are all on the same page......otherwise they would have impeached Obama or Holder al ong time ago..Grant Program. The program is made possible through the Partnership for Sustainable Communities, an interagency partnership of the US Departments of Housing and Urban Development, Transportation, and the Environmental Protection Agency. Through this partnership, these three federal agencies came together to help places around the country develop in more environmentally and economically sustainable ways. To guide its work, the Partnership developed six livability principles: · Provide more transportation choices. · Promote equitable, affordable housing. · Enhance economic competitiveness. · Support existing communities. · Coordinate and leverage federal policies and investment. · Value communities and neighborhoods. By working with core partners including the Northwest Michigan Council of Governments and the City of Traverse City, Grand Traverse County was able to develop a strong proposal for funding. Out of 583 eligible grant applications, only 42 communities received funding. Grand Traverse County appreciates the opportunity to be among the inaugural awardees of this exciting program and partnership. The grant funds are being used to: $50,000: The Northwest Michigan Council of Government conducted a housing information inventory and analysis. Housing and community data was collected, developed, maintained and analyzed, including inventorying and analyzing substandard housing in the County. A primary benefit of this effort is recognizing ways to improve existing housing through rehabilitation and reducing substandard conditions for renters. The effort also compliments and supports the County’s Master Planning efforts and affordable housing strategy development.
