Just had a very trying day. Two tenants (female) in our DO Foundation house got into a physical altercation. It was so bad I had to call the police. One was arrested for attacking the other. The sad part about this drama is the attacker (in her 30s) assaulted a 76 yr old woman (with dementia). She (attacker) did this while her children watched. She was arrested after she called all of her thuggish family over to support her. I was in the middle of it all. Sadly, I had to evicted the attacker. Even sadder, the victim is so afraid she opted to leave the DO House for good in fear of the other woman returning. If I could get a clear message to the attacker Id say ...its not about the situation/drama at hand - but how you HANDLE yourself during. Its not WHAT you say. Its HOW you say it. Its not the action of others. Its your REaction to them. --- Todays drama was unnecessary. Some people just dont get it!! Im tired :-(
