Last evening while visiting with a young couple in premarital instruction I was struck with the necessary motivation to do what is right before God. It was kind of like a light bulb was turned on in helping them see what is the motivation to do what is best, good and right for Gods glory and the betterment of their relationship, not just live in selfish pleasures as so many do. Not only that their relationship will be able to withstand the garbage that they will face in life. Not just that the children in the future are watching and will model what they do (Luke 6:40), but most significantly that unity, harmony, security and stability will be theirs as they walk down lifes path. Pauls words in 2 Corinthians 5 and vs. 14a says, The Love of Christ compels me. That Unconditional, Sacrificial, Servant Love that Christ has, is and will always model to us is that high octane jet fuel to keep us desiring, doing and faithfully obeying what He sets before us. Friends spend a little time today and the days ahead and contemplate the Deep, Deep Love of Jesus that He has for you. Watch the difference it makes as the smile in your heart radiates outward. The warmth of His love makes such a significant difference in our life! Have a great day friends!
