Last year I was sitting in my car waiting for my hubby to come back from inside the store while I waited I noticed a dog in a vechical next to me. No idea how long he had been there I waited for awhile to see if anyone coming out of the store was headed toward the vechical. When no one did I called my husband told him about the dog and asked him what he thought I should do. He told me there was a huge line of people checking out to wait and see if his owner was in it. I was like okay Ya, its only been 5 minutes so maybe he was right and so I waited a few more minutes. I got a call from my husband an as I was on the phone with him a green Van came next to the car, a guy got out I heard him talking to the dog pushing him off of him and away from the car door saying No, (dogs name) He got some stuff out of the vechical, but not the dog. My heart sank deep, because I knew he had room for the dog in the van and who wouldnt make room for their pet? I knew I just watched a dog be abandoned in a hot vechical and I got all the details still in my mind as if it happened yesterday. I called 911 and reported what I saw to the officers over the phone. I cried for this dog I didnt know the dog personally, and I never had seen him before. I just am so grateful I was there and saw it, as much heartache it caused me seeing. I know if I hadnt of been there, the dog would of been found dead.
