Matthew 5:16 When Robert Louis Stevenson was a young child, as dusk was turning to darkness, he had his face pinned to the window at the front of his house fascinated by the lamplighter coming down the street lighting the old-fashioned gas street lamps. He called out to his nana saying, Nana! Come quickly. Theres a man coming down the street punching holes in the darkness! Wherever we are and wherever we go may Gods love shine through us so that by our manner of conversation and life we, too, will punch holes in the darkness—the spiritual darkness that surrounds us.
