Locklair star system, year: 2503, TFNS Battleaxe Terran Federation Navy after action report, Commodore Jonathan Terence, Navy, military and social security number: b475823Y47. battle report. Classified Foxtrot clearance-low priority. Bravo Flotilla; seventh Fleet; TFN Northern defensive command. The enemy jumped in to the Locklear system at approximately 15:00 hours, The enemy are not very tactically flexible, this has been observed in several different battles across Federation space under attack, however the Locklair system is a major military and commercial nexus point so understandably the enemy was detected in strengths larger than nominal enemy order of battle strengths, after jumping into the system the enemy displayed a remarkable knowledge in local defensive installations, approximately nine squadrons were dispatched to neutralise all major defensive installations. After the neutralisation of all friendly defensive installations, fleet elements fell back to secondary positions, however Admiral Thomson ruled that the secondary positions were not sustainable to the defence of the Locklair Colony and all other military and civilian installations pertaining to the colony. So all secondary and tertiary fallback positions apart from a few positions which the Admiral deemed as tactical points which were potentially damaging to enemy units were abandoned, after the tactical retreat from these positions, fleet elements regrouped around Locklair world itself, upon which a 10 hour engagement was fought, up-to-date enemy units have been pushed back to Locklair 6, The TFNS chesty Puller has been neutralised, chesty puller was the flagship of Admiral Thompson, all hands were lost. I, Commodore Jonathan Terents am now the officer in command of Northern command Terran Federation naval system Locklair. If we are to maintain a presence in the Locklair system, we will need reinforcements immediately. This is because if the enemy applies standard tactical doctrine A sizeable flag strength of approximately 150 ships will be deployed to push TFN presents from the system. And as observe on multiple occasions the enemy rarely to never deviate from its Standard tactical doctrine. The loss of Locklair could pose a major threat to the inner star systems and potentially Sol, Alpha Centauri, Epsilon Eridani and other major core systems. If we are to have a chance of attaining victory in what seems to be a genocidal war we must attempt to keep or prolong our presence in the Locklair asset.
