MEN OF COURAGE... Proverbs 16:9 “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps”. Once a young boy enters into manhood he typically has a very narrow track of what “his” plans are, and for the typical man that is to make money, dress fancy and date multiple women to add as trophies to stroke his ego. However, there comes a time when that one thing happens that redirects us called “LIFE”. Too many of our men are not facing the responsibilities that “WE” have created for ourselves and the reason is, that we have lost our connection with God. We use His name to glorify ourselves with our successes in sports, music, the corporate world, etc., but do we “TRULY” love God??? I pose that question for this very reason; A man that desires a “TRUE RELATIONSHIP” with God will be led to love, honor and respect his significant other. A man that desires a “true” relationship with God will be lead to spend time with his children, teaching them right from wrong. A man that desires a “true” relationship with God will be lead to raise his family in church, sowing into them seeds that are needed for harmony and balance in his home. And a man that “truly” desires a relationship with God, will go to the end of the earth and back to see to it that his wife/significant other and family needs for NOTHING. Galatians 5:22 teaches us that “ the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness & faithfulness. A REAL MAN loves his woman unconditionally, while a COWARD cheats at the change of her appearance. A REAL MAN brings joy into his home, while a COWARD tries to dominate his home with aggressive behavior. A REAL MAN endures longsuffering thru the good and the bad, while a COWARD runs at the first sign of a struggle. A REAL MAN is kind with his mate, while a COWARD strokes his ego by ignoring her. And A REAL MAN is faithful to his woman, while a COWARD will seek pleasure outside of his home. A true MAN OF COURAGE is first, one who honors & loves God with all of his mind, body and soul, and allows his steps to be ordered by God and not himself. And secondly, a true MAN OF COURAGE is one who loves, honors, cherishes and fights for his family. Men, give yourselves to God so that He who is the author and finisher of your faith, can restore you to the “MAN” He created you to be. Are there any more MEN OF COURAGE out there???
