MH17: The parents of Richard Mayne, named on Friday as one of the ten British citizens who died in in the Malaysia Airlines MH17 crash, said they were devastated when they learned of their sons death. Richards father, Simon, told the Leicester Mercury he saw reports of the crash on the television. “I’d booked the whole flight for him and I’d printed off the boarding cards so I knew that that was the flight that he was on, and at that moment there was no doubt in my mind that he was dead,” he said.
