MIGRATION UPDATE When the weather conditions are just right and the grazing conditions ideal, then the roaming herds of the #GreatMigration stay put. This is precisely the reason why the enormous mega herd has not really moved since our last update. The summer rains have made the southern Serengeti a lush green oasis and the mega herd is happily positioned near Maswa Game Reserve near the Kakesio plains all the way down to Hidden Valley and Miti Mitatu. The sightings for guests visiting our two #andBeyond Serengeti Under Canvas camps continue to be outstanding, with wildebeest as far as the eye can see and an abundance of predators and plains game.
