Moonshade is the name given to the changeling princess by twilight who found her lost and scared in the forest. Three nights before she was taken from her hive by a group of nightmare followers, they burned a crescent moon on her chest and she escaped with amnesia and lived with the purple pony for 3 years. She made friends, some who did and didnt know she was a changeling and lived peacefully, feeding off the love of friendship from the ponies and the motherly love of her adopted mother Twilight, she eventually reunites with her mother later and there are two different ways from there, the queen accepts her as her daughter and takes her eventually learning about paw between ponies and changelings or do to living among ponies she was found unfit to be princess until she Provos her self, in witch she takes over ponyville and canterlot with several others as her command. She is the daughter of Queen Chrysalis, and heir to the throne, the scar gives her no real special trait at this time if not any.
