More than two dozen tornadoes touched down across the US heartland, killing at least 17 people. The worst hit area is in the suburbs of Little Rock, Arkansas, where most of the victims were killed. Twisters also touched down in five other states, including Nebraska and Oklahoma. The storms were powerful enough to flip 18-wheelers.
