Mustaqilla TV Interview : Mohammed Pasha a senior Muslim Brotherhood figure and myself : The Egyptian Economy state of play will ultimately determine any hope for stability which so far have not been seriously addressed due to ongoing ferocious struggle between The Brotherhood and the Military quest for power . Egypts economy output barely covers a 24 million population requirement , with a severely underfunded and sluggishly functioning public services like education ,health and transport. State security and judiciary are dangerously over stretched due to endless political trials . Stability is needed to bring about confidence for inward investment and revive tourism . Political Islam should recognise that they failed to bring about modernity and democracy . The military needs to thoroughly re-examine its objectives and show transparency . Religion doctrines can not substitute civil law. Egyptians aspire for a new vision of sound strategy not short term point scoring . Europe and United States ideally should play a role to bring about and support public institutions and economic recovery . In part of the interview I spoke about British Arab Network (britisharabnetwork.eu) , its role in Public Diplomacy to build bridges between Britain and Arab World . There inadequate genuine political voice for Arab communities the West . The Organisation strives to serve these large communities .
