My Verdict In some ways, the iPhone 6 feels like a response to the incredible success of Android devices, from the larger screen to the rounded build to the tweaks in iOS 8. This phone doesnt really boast the kind of hardware innovations weve seen in previous incarnations. Still, refinement is as much a part of Apples pedigree as innovation; the iPhone 6 merges the best of its existing elements and those of its competitors to create a seriously polished and harmonious smartphone experience. Whether obvious or subtle, the improvements this time around are substantial and truly meaningful throughout, making the iPhone 6 not only Apples top effort to date, but also one of the best smartphones of any kind.
