My mom, Christy Bernarda has had some major improvements. She is awake and trying to talk. Since we are unable to read lips she is also writing. She has a trach in and until she is able to be fitted for a speaking device we are making due. She still has some bacterial infections so no visitors. But yesterday the physical therapist was able to get her out of bed. She put on her socks with help and took a couple of steps to a chair to be able to sit up. It is amazing how well she is doing. I can only say it is an absolute miracle. The power of prayer is amazing. She still has a great sense of humor. Yesterday when my grandma was leaving she said to my mom "I will try to come back tomorrow." And my mom mouthed to her "well, I will be here!" Also, her left arm is now moving! It is not as strong as the right but improving daily!! Thank you again for all of your prayers. It is working miracles for her! Have a wonderful 4th of July!
