Myjobo acquires an Extended Validated SSL Certificate Following its successful pre-launch as a beta site end July this year, Myjobo, Malawis leading online job search engine, has acquired an Extended Validated SSL Certificate to ensure that users have peace of mind when advertising or looking for the latest job vacancies. This puts Myjobo in the same league as major global websites such as Paypal, Google and LinkedIn and comes in response to concerns expressed by potential users about the security of their data when using the career advice network. Myjobo Team is constantly improving the features on the site with feedback from users. Myjobo now features a Facebook Page that is rapidly growing. Several users, especially companies, were very concerned with the security and authenticity of the site. Now we have that lock and confirmation that we own Myjobo and security is fully assured. We will continue to provide free services to employers and job seekers. Come join us now, said Mr Geoffrey Banda, Operations Director for Myjobo. Users, including Malawians in diaspora, have been sending positive feedback on how the site can be improved. This is very positive and such interactions are already making Myjobo meet international standards and recognition, commented mentor of the team, Mr. Watipaso Mkandawire. These changes are all part of Myjobos preparation for its official launch, which is yet to be finalised. We will announce when the time is ripe for our official launch in Malawi. We are in touch with relevant bodies who are encouraging us to launch officially soon. The feedback we have been getting is so encouraging, most of the stakeholders believe that this is an innovation that should be nurtured, Banda concluded.
