Need some help and am reaching out to all the brilliant minds on face book. In the early 70`s I bought a metal bracelet engraved with the name of an airman that was a POW or missing in action. the bracelet was to show our support of the troops in Vietnam. The idea was to return the bracelet when he returned or at some point be able to return it to the family. After all these years I still have the bracelet and contacted the Department of defense that sent me a very nice letter letting me know that my airman`s plane had been shot down and all aboard were lost. His body was not recovered and it made me cry. The DOD can not give the name of my airman`s family for obvious reasons. But I still think the family should know their son was not forgotten. There should be a way to do this and not have a nut job ruin it for all. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thx
