Next Maintenance Question: Vance & Hines spiral cracked a couple of weeks ago. I had it welded and put it back on. I had to push it pretty hard to get back on correctly cuz try as he could, the welder did not get them positioned exactly as they were. So sometimes... when I am shifting into second there is a like a wet popping sound - just once - when I shift and it sounds like it is coming from where the pipe is attached to the rear head. I replaced the gasket and thought the piped cinched down pretty good when I tightened the bolts... My question is if there is a small leak there at the head is it going to ruin/damage my engine?
