Not another rant, but something I feel I need to say... America is still the greatest nation on earth to call home. We may feel that we are often fighting a losing battle. We may feel as though we have gone too far astray to ever gain some ground in our fight to restore our nation. What we must remember is that America is more than just one administration. America is more than political parties and propaganda. America is more than a movement or any symbol or catch phrase. Our debt may grow; our crime may rise; our division may seem greater than ever before; we may stumble and fall. We may win wars and lose battles. However, one thing that cannot be defeated is the American Spirit. When our founding fathers rose to the challenge and fought to establish our great nation; history shows us that their greatest strength was their spirit. The battle for our freedom could have easily been lost if it werent for the American Spirit. The American People cannot be broken. Each time the presidential election is upon us it seems as though the end of America is close at hand; or so that is what we hear as each party scrambles to gain ground. While I am very troubled at the state of our nation and our people; I am confident we will rise once again to greatness. I know this because the American Spirit cannot be broken. No movement; no other nation; no cause will ever grow in strength to defeat our Spirit. God Bless America and our People. Now, as we move toward the general election in November, let us live up to the expectations and examples of those who founded our country and become examples for future generations. Thank you.
