Nursing Home Manager (Peripatetic) Nursing Home Manager (Peripatetic) - North East & Yorkshire - Excellent salary This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursing Home Manager to support and manage established Nursing Homes in the North East & Yorkshire for a prestigious care group. You will be undertaking a trouble shooting role across a variety of Nursing Homes within the group. You will have a passion for improving services and a proven track record in this area. You will be responsible for: -Assisting in the day to day running of a variety of nursing homes -Standing in for the manager when required and sharing the main responsibilities -Management and development of staff -Managing the effective use of resources and budget -Complying with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times whilst employing a policy of continual improvement -Maximising the homes exposure by increasing public awareness and reputation in the local community, thereby maintaining high levels of occupancy You will have: -A relevant nursing qualification (essential) and Registered Managers Award (preferable) -Current registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK -A strong commercial awareness -Experience in palliative and dementia care -Proven experience of management and troubleshooting in a nursing home or similar environment -The ability to use your skills to develop care plans and assessments -A full UK drivers license
