OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM MATCHAMS (XTREME OFF ROAD EVENTS) Hi guys, we would like to thank everyone who is helping us with this new venue, and to all those who have supported it already, we would like to clear a few things up so there can be no confusion. We have over the last couple of years taken massive steps to bringing you this facility to use, it has come at considerable cost and more so time to working closely with the local council in order to bringing this venue to fruition. At present we are only able to operate the venue for up to 125cc 2 strokes only, away from this we have permission to operate quad bike arrive and drive and also pit bike sessions along with stag and hen and birthday parties and various events. At present it has been a very slow progress to obtain acceptance to operate the above and we hope that you will all be patient with us as we get this venue sorted and more investment into it. We have no permission at present to operate the GP Circuit and this is something we are working towards, but will not be happening over night, our main intention at present is to work within the parameters of what we are allowed and can do, should things change at a later date with regard the GP circuit then of course we will let you all know. Whilst I know there is many questions being asked about bigger bikes away from pit bikes and quads, at present we can only run up to the 125 at this venue, this is a legal requirement and one we have to be firm with otherwise all the hard work to get the facility will be lost. the venue prices have been listed elsewhere to ride on here, but to confirm it is £25 per rider, group bookings of a minimum of 10 of any class or mixed class can privately hire the venue away from our main practice days which are 10am with last session at 3.30pm on either a Wednesday or Saturday of each week, gates open from 9am please do not arrive before this time. Public can come to watch at any of our days, but a parking charge for public is £2 per vehicle for the day. Catering will be on site on both Wednesday and Saturday. Private bookings (minimum of 10) must give us 48 hours notice to either use the facility on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. Quad bike stag and hen parties or kids parties are also catered for but again are at a different rate to what is listed above please feel free to contact us direct to book a party, or additionally to book practice.
