ON OUR KNEES BEGGING-PLEASE HELP SIRI I am truly sorry for the graphic nature of this picture, but even sorrier that there are those among us capable of such barbaric acts. This is the worst of inhumanity, poor Siri shot in the face and left for dead. This beautiful pup was shot in Cypress FL. She was found by good Samaritans, so starving that she and another dog she was found with were seen eating plastic and discarded food wrappers. Siri was so scared and traumatized it took days to coax her to safety. It took more time for the rescuers to find an organization like ours willing to help. This photo was taken at the vet today. In addition to the gaping wound, Siri has a broken jaw and the bullet still lodged in her mouth. Siri is scheduled for reconstructive surgery on Monday. Until then the vet is trying to manage her pain and she is taking antibiotics. PLEASE help us help this beautiful girl and show her that not all humans are despicable.
