Okay... So I hear ya; some of you just dont like to read and hate math. Fine. Ill do it for ya. I know that eating organic (including meat and so forth) costs me about $20 more per week, than eating conventional. BUT lets say its $40 just for shits and giggles. $40 x 52 (weeks per year) = $2,080 (more a year than I otherwise would) x (lets be optimistic) 50 more years = 140,000 Keep in mind that I only spend about $20 more a week, so really $70k from here on out. Diabetes on the other hand: $7,900 per year (on the diabetes alone, NOT including average complications) x (lets be real here) 30 = $230,000. What if I live 50 years after diagnosis? $395,000! So, yeah... Eat organic, and you will save money in the end, your children wont be changing your diaper when your 60, and you are very likely to leave the state of our food source in better shape for your kids then they are now. Win-win, MoFos! So lets go shopping!
