One of the hardest things that will ever be asked of us in our lives is to create a tribute to someone we love. How can we create a tribute to someone in just a few moments? Where speaking is difficult at funerals, but the want to do something is greater photos can speak volumes and louder that words. When I prepared my fathers tribute- my family begged me not to include ACDC since it was going to be played in a church. However, it was my dads favourite band. My dad happened to love country music just as much and music was one of the things I acquainted with my dad- so it was going in. In the end, everyone not only loved the tribute but were in hysterics seeing I also included Lee Kernaghans music- because again, that was how I identified with dad. Even the celebrant understood my intentions- and was the first to understand me and not judge. Music was something my dad loved- and I couldnt half show what he was about just because others didnt think it was appropriate. It was who he was. He would have been front row at a Lee Kernaghan concern just as he would have been at an ACDC concert or John Farham concert. All of those artists remind me of my dad who I lost to mesothelioma and the songs make me smile, but sometimes shed tears. I now need to prepare one for my Grandmother we just recently lost, at 90. This is a service LA Photography does offer others needing to do the same with their loved ones- and charges very minimal fees for this; https://youtube/watch?v=B73iwrbdnRg
