One week ago today my most beloved Dad, passed. He had a heart of gold. Was my mentor, teacher, fishing, camping, boating buddy, and best friend. A fellow dog lover, he taught me to ride motorcycle, let me help him build a house, (among many other things), and how to treat everyone with kindness and respect. His passing will leave a huge void not just for me, but for the rest of my family and others, as he was a true and loyal friend to many. He loved deeply with a sweet and kind heart, and was one of those people who would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. He was the best Dad I could have ever hoped for. I am comforted and honored now, by the fact that I (and his dog ) was with him round the clock for his last 5 days while in hospice. And that I could be there to hold his hand while he took his last breath. The least I could do for such a wonderful man. He was such a huge Seahawks fan, that I choose to believe he had something to do with the big win today. ;) I sure missed getting to share the game with him today. Rest peacefully Dad, till we meet again.
