Our first Guardian Angel-Partners in Care class of 2015 is Sunday January 18th at 2pm. Type 1 diabetes Education Class. Presented by Cyndy Cohoon, Certified Diabetes Educator, Children’s Mercy Hospital and Kids With Courage, Director of Education. WHO CAN COME: Grandparent, Extended family, Babysitters, Teachers, School Nurses, Day Care providers. Anyone who cares enough to be involved with a child with Type 1 diabetes. LEARN TO: Care for a child with Type 1 diabetes while the primary care giver is away. Identify a diabetes emergency and respond with confidence.
