PARENTS: Please teach your children that it is NOT OK to step out in front of vehicles when walking. Cant tell you the number of times Ive gone to pick up Kenzie only to have a pack of disrespectful, arrogant kids step directly in front of a moving vehicle without so much as the slightest care in looking - and its not carelessness, its arrogance in thinking that were SUPPOSED to stop for them! Just a short while ago, I had stopped at a four-way stop where a pack of them appeared to be talking at the corner but suddenly decided to step and cross directly in front of me - one of them actually held his hand up to ME in a stop gesture. I glared at him (and yes, I know who he is as well as a few of the others!), but it took great restraint not to jump out of my car and give them ALL a verbal beat down! They need to be taught that they are NOT invincible. who do they think will win that battle - 110lb kid, or a 2500lb vehicle?!
