PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING By Debbie McBee I look to your greatness and loving-kindness and I am overwhelmed with gratitude. You have allowed me to see your beauty and your holiness, and I give you praise as my King and my Savior. I worship you in the beauty of holiness. You have exchanged beauty for my ashes and I am relieved and overjoyed. By your grace, I am growing in grace and I thank you Lord. Your faith is sufficient for me and songs of deliverance are bubbling up from my soul. I cannot contain your goodness nor can I contain all that you have done for me. My soul cries out with joy and gladness as I think upon your great love and deliverance towards me. Thank you, for planting me by the living waters and planning for my growth. Thank you for supplying everything that I need to go on unto your resurrection. I worship you in the beauty of holiness and your word, and I am grateful that your doctrine drops like dew into my heart and soul. I am refreshed by your precious word and the direction you have set before me. Even though danger is part of this journey, you have made a way for me and have given me new direction. I am resting in this new melody with clarity and assurance because you love me, and have my best interest at heart. I rejoice as the waters of cleansing are poured out upon me and I am refreshed and relieved of the distractions of the hour. I thank you for the newness of life and I give you praise. * PRAYER INSIGHT By Don Grigsby Holiness is transparency. We allow the nature of God to always flow freely in all we do and say. In him there is no shadow of turning. As a peculiar people we are not ashamed to be identified with the contrasting lifestyle of the people who want to be more like God than the latest fashion style. We are pursuing the beauty of that which is eternal. We are seeing the unseen and are blinded to the seen. Our gaze is upon the lover of our soul. Detours and diversions are in our path by times but we are never deterred from the highway of holiness that transcends the weak and beggarly things of this world. Moses counted it greater riches than all of Egypt to be reproached for the Lord. If the reproach of Christ is that great a treasure, then how much is his blessings worth?
