Page owners beware!! I just got the shock of my life! My notifications tell me that a post that I 'promoted' on my page has now expired, at a cost of 150 USD to be deducted from my paypal account! When I visit my page the 'continue promotion' option is highlighted beneath it. I have never promoted a post, and never will, so how that happened, especially when a number of options must be selected before a post is indeed promoted, I have no idea. Just to be safe, my techy partner has removed Facebook from my authorised list of payees on my paypal account, and I have received an immediate written response from paypal verifying this. So far no attempt has been made to withdraw any money, and now, it should be impossible for them to do so, but goodness me it was an unpleasant surprise. Just goes to show, you always have to be several steps ahead!! *deep breath*
